About

Who I am

Software engineer, currently between SF and SoCal. I’ve built and shipped at Tesla, Labelbox, First Round Capital, and UW. These days I build agents and the infrastructure they run on, from bare metal to browser — currently 115, and a stealth project, Lumbridge.

Philosophy

Own the whole stack

From DNS to the database, I run what I build on. Abstractions leak — and the bugs that matter live in what's underneath. So I learn it.

Build the machine, not the output

The win isn't doing the work — it's building the thing that does the work. I'd rather spend a day on a system that ships forever than an hour on a task I'll just repeat.

Production is the only proof

Nothing is real until it's live. Ship early, then let real users — and real markets — tell you what's true. A demo proves nothing.

Build the right thing

Speed is wasted aimed at the wrong target. Engineering tells you how to build it; taste and judgment tell you whether you should. I optimize for both.

AI Engineer World's Fair — PodMan

2nd place out of 95+ teams at the AI Engineer World's Fair Hackathon, plus the LiveKit and DigitalOcean track awards. Built PodMan — an ambient voice-AI pair-programmer that watches a team's shared room and flags duplicate work and merge collisions before they cost anyone time. Shipped to production over a weekend.
